Kotaku GameSpot Crave Online RPG Watch Gamestar (04/09) PC Games (03/09) GamePro (06/09) ![]() Realgamer.net digs Divinity II - Game score: 80% Realgamer.net posted their review of the English version of the game and seemed to like it, calling it "a truly great role-playing experience". Here's a snip: "The story is driven forward with some good voice acting which can be quite comical at times, but also by some absolutely stunning cut-scenes which look like they’ve come straight from a CGI blockbuster movie. Quests are pretty original and instead of the simple retrieving of objects as in some roleplaying games...The game is absolutely huge! I invested between 30 to 35 hours in the game and still had many quests to undertake and visit some of the varied locations which range from small hamlets to intricate towns and sheer cliffs with camps littered throughout!" Final score: 8/10 Read the full review here.
Games32.com reviewed the UK-version of Divinity II - Ego Draconis and rated the game 88%. Here’s their stellar conclusion: "If you are even remotely interested in playing a top quality RPG, with a narrative that hasn't been told and retold in every single game of the genre, then you shouldn't miss Divinity 2: Ego Draconis. For a company that doesn't spin millions, Larian Studios delivered a real gem, a sequel that surpasses the original in every imaginable way and should please even the most fastidious gamers."

9Lives has just posted their review of Divinity II and enjoyed it very much. Here is their conclusion: "It was a long wait for Divinity II but it was worth it. It's a solid RPG in a wonderfully constructed world. It's alive and bustling; fighting is well-designed and novelties like 'mindread' are actually a surplus instead of some gimmick. Flying around like a dragon, spewing fire is the icing on the cake."

"In the end we got a very diverse RPG that is phenomenally rich in terms of features, and will interest fans of Diablo; players who like to interact with NPCs; explore the game world; and finally, those who have always wanted to fly through the heavens as a proud Dragon or to find out what that beautiful girl really thinks about them [through mindread - Larian]."
